Ivan & Ivon Charities was birthed out of a vision from the president, Lilia Dardon to help the underprivileged in any way possible, whether it meant a mission trip, building water wells, or becoming a teacher to unaccompanied minors. She was asked to do a report about someone that made an impact on her life while getting her Bachelor’s Degree. She chose to write about her father who came to the U.S. illegally at first and then became a citizen. She saw first hand what it meant to her father to be a citizen and the struggles it took to reach that status. Herbert I. Dardon
Vice President
Herbert Dardon is a full-time Technical Engineer and Part-time Associate Pastor who enjoys supporting and interacting with people from all walks of life.
When not working his 9-5 job as a Tech, Herbert enjoys interacting with leadership and men in his ministry team. Being an immigrant to this country, he has gained insight into the different cultures as well as the challenges that accompany assimilating into a new “world”.
Herbert was born in Guatemala. Exposed to a colorful culture; Hugs, handshakes and laughter were part of his daily routine. A close-knit family taught him the importance of having a supporting environment and loving people regardless of their challenges.
His passion is to love and support those who are searching for a better life.
Marrying and collaborating with Lilia Dardon has encouraged his desire to become a missionary and travel the world to help as well as to learn the different cultures.
As Vice-president of Ivan and Ivon Charities, his goal is to support the needs of the communities through the vision of the organization. His dedication is to the Word of God. The great Commision.
